故意過熱以產生粗大的麻田散鉄+沃斯田鉄. Ductile iron intentionally over-heated by induction heating to produce very coarse Martensite in the matrix of Austenite. Color etched. Incipient melting occured on grain boundaries. K: Karbid, Carbide. 這樣粗大的Martensite性能很差, 中看不中用.
 
  
 
 
 
 
 

離感應層稍遠的地方. Core area ajacent to induction hardened layer. Halo of low carbon Martensite surrounding  graphite nodules. Previous Pearlite areas have transfored into Martensite.
