 Today, 12/31, the last day of 2010. I  obtained by chance this tinting that shows the graphite nodulus in details . They look like the cross section of  "Swiss rolls 瑞士卷", don't they? Lower Bainite and over-saturated R.A. make up the matrix. 上: Nital 蝕後, 未彩蝕. 下: 彩蝕.
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

A small amount of carbide "islands" are found in the matrix. Carbides are detrimental to the toughness of  ADI parts. They are crack initiation sites for fatigue cracking.
